Escape: The Trials of Houdini
Play completely online… Not a part of the subscription.
We have digitized our FOURTH Game!
Madama Asella, a fortune teller in Coney Island, claims to have the answers you seek about the infamous Mr. X. There is an issue, though. Harry Houdini, the master escape artist, has a mission to uncover those mystics who are frauds. He has his sights set on Madame Asella and he has files proving that she is a fake. Madame Asella has an offer for you. She will tell you what you need to know about your enemy if you take on the master illusionist and find his hidden files on her, which are hidden somewhere in the sideshows of Coney Island. You will need to explore the rides, inspect the secret compartments, and perform some outstanding illusions of your own to be able to match wits with Harry Houdini. Be careful, as nothing is quite as it seems…
This is a “re-imagining” of our fourth box in the subscription, which was released in August / September of 2017. If you have played this box, many of the puzzles in this game will be the same, though we have added a few surprises. Since the physical game of “Escape: The Trials of Houdini” was permanently retired in July of 2021, this digital game will offer new fans of Escape the Crate a chance to start the game from the very beginning.

Check out our F.A.Q.’s on how our virtual games work HERE. When you order, your game code to play the game will be sent to your email address shortly after the order goes through. If you don’t see the email, please check your SPAM folder.
These game codes don’t have expiration dates, but once you click the link and start playing, you have only 72 hours in which to complete the game! Once you finish playing, you can NOT play again.
Playing in a group? Share the game code with your other players so that you will all be in the same game together. Use Zoom, or the internet audio method of your choice, to talk to each other virtually during the game. We do recommend headphones to avoid feedback.
Playing Solo? Use the link to log in, as well. Since the game is designed for groups, there might be some puzzles where it might be easier to snap a photograph of the screen to help crack a code to save yourself having to click back and forth through the pages.
